During this time, I also had my own consulting business specializing in Industrial Relations. In 1999 I joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers and moved to Sandton where we lived for 18 months. During this time, my wife Nicky gave birth to our first son Michael. After an offer to transfer to California with PwC, we relocated to Irvine, CA in 2000. We spent 4 years in southern California and our second son, Jason joined us in 2004. We loved living in California, and if the opportunity presents itself we would love to move back.
