The overall fatality rate is about 1.09 % per million populations per year in Bangladesh. The lightning fatalities are significantly more common in the pre monsoon season. Therefore, this study provides useful information on the risky lightning time in Bangladesh to indicate a public awareness and lightning safety. ]]>
