Branding has emerged as a top management priority in the last decade due to the growing realization that brands are one of the most valuable intangible assets that firms have. Driven in part by this intense industry interest, academic researchers have explored a number of different brand-related topics in recent years, generating scores of papers, articles, research reports, and books. This paper identifies some of the influential work in the branding area, highlighting what has been learned from an academic perspective on important topics such as brand positioning, brand integration, brand-equity measurement, brand growth, and brand management. The paper also outlines some gaps that exist in the research of branding and brand equity and formulates a series of related research questions. Choice modeling implications of the branding concept and the challenges of incorporating main and interaction effects of branding as well as the impact of competition are discussed.]]>

This paper proposes a conceptual framework which explains how universities can disseminate education of social entrepreneurship in the country by using forward and backward integration approach indulging schools & colleges as backward integration whereas industry, NGOs, NPOs, and professionals are forward integration to strengthen the Social entrepreneurship around the country. In Pakistan, the government introduced social entrepreneurship center in its vision2025 to solve the most pressing social problems of the country. In Pakistan, the situation is awful as we are facing enormous economic and social problems. According to Finance minister of Pakistan, the unemployment rate has climbed to 8.3% during the fiscal year 2015, with 700, 000 people are unemployed in the country. It indicates that country is facing appalling youth unemployment crisis which is catastrophic itself adhering to societys well-being. Now the question arises how to begin with in response to disseminating the education of social entrepreneurship in Pakistan? To answer this preliminary question, we have a robust source of knowledge creation hub in Pakistan and that is of Universities. The University has a central role as a nations primary source of knowledge creation; it can also play a significant role while developing an education system to induce a socio-economic change in the country. ]]>
