Since the last 60 years of study, six detailed network reconstructions of the metabolism of this bacteria was developed. Despite this long reasearch, current model lack of volatile metabolites which can describe the inner life cycle of a cell in a even more intensive way. Facing the complex nature of such models, my approach is to consult several databases with information we can use, to query them automatically and integrate this date in a update model of E. Coli.
