I have 12 years of higher education experience including teaching, program development, advising, assessment, departmental and grant leadership and grant coordination. I have publications in both pure mathematics and mathematics education, and my research interests include geometric topology, combinatorial topology, combinatorial algebra, recreational mathematics, and undergraduate mathematics education. I have expertise in and experience with the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics, including development work with Chicago-area K-12 teachers and parents.
