Peniche was a men's wear fashion designer from 2007-2012 and was awarded Fashion Designer of the Year in 2012 by the PFSA. In 2011 he founded and curated a creative work space called NXT Industries in NW Portland (The Loft), then expanded the business with another NXT property in 2013 located in SE Portland (The Lab).
