This is part of an innovation workshop for an industrial manufacturer in the automotive sector. The objective was to find ways to get all employees more engaged in the company's innovation efforts. We helped them create actions to improve their innovation discovery skills, develop strategies for a more creative environment, and propose management policies and actions to support their innovation efforts. In this presentation on environmental factors for innovation, we emphasized that only implementing one or two of the 10 strategies is likely to result in failure. A company needs to invent most if not all of the 10 tips since they work in concert. Also, these are generalizations from across many industries which would need to be customized to the particular needs of each company.]]>
