Kerala is situated on the southern-most tip of India. This small state stands tall for its literacy amongst the rest of the nation, spread out in 28 states and 7 union territories. St. Thomas the Apostle of Jesus Christ who came to India by sea route from Persia (Parthia) set foot in Kerala during 52 A.D. and had practically a half of Kerala converted to Christianity, among whom figured our forefathers as well. St Thomas was put to death by pagans and infidels at a place today known as St Thomas’ Mount in 72 AD.
