It started with a volunteering position with Engineers Without Borders Australia in Cambodia with the NGO Sahmakum Teang Tnaut. Next was 4.5 years at Amec Foster Wheeler in Kuwait on one of the world's largest contaminated land clean up projects. This ended in blowing the whistle due to multiple human rights, safety and ethics issues. Next was a few months in Qatar on a Ministry of Transport and Communications public transport multi modal journey planner project with Esri Northeast Africa.
