BiblioTECH Consultant Rolf Erikson is a specialist in school library program facilities design and has participated in over one hundred new and renovated public and private school library facilities design projects, both in the U.S. and abroad. I aim to help clients make informed choices when analyzing space requirements. From initial conception to completion, I provide expert assistance in identifying needed spaces and optimal adjacencies; designing floor plans with traffic patterns, activity levels, and users in mind; working with architects; and identifying and specifying interior furnishings that make school libraries functional, inviting, ergonomic and ADA compliant.
