If I believe that it is rational for me to believe that if I drink arsenic I
will die, then I will go on to believe that if I drink arsenic I will die,
because if I do not believe this, I will have no reason to not drink
arsenic, and thus I might drink the arsenic and die. Since I do not want
to die, I am best advised to hold the belief that if I drink arsenic I will
die.
