Safina Padaniya says that there are some days when she wants nothing more than to be in her garden, pulling weeds. She is a retired executive assistant who took up organic gardening many years ago, and remains passionate about it. She is a Los Angeles native who currently lives in Woodland Hills in the San Fernando Valley. She often leaves her garden for a month or more while she and her husband travel, but pays a neighbor to tend it while she’s gone.
