In understanding both technology and research, I am a bridge. I like to link visionary ideas with ideal practice. I have spent time investigating needs at a grassroots level and paths to technology solutions. Today I am engaged in assisting a new nonprofit, The Millet House, as it attains local historic status for a neighborhood and develops a series of programs to address issues of marginalized populations (homeless, people with disabilities, low-income) through art, technology and literacy, in a safe, community-based environment. Research will be an important aspect of this work as will the opening of an art gallery not limited to but including artists from these populations.
