I am a retired teacher who taught for 32 years in elementary and middleschool. I now substitute in the two Del Valle elementary schools where I recently taught 5th grade. I am passionate about science. I love learning and discovering new things. I especially love seeing in person tide pools, geologic formations and processes, ecosystems, glaciers, and other aspects of the concepts I have taught. I am very independent, enjoying traveling alone. I have been married for 37 years to the same person. We have had our ups and downs, but now are closely bonded, enjoying many of the same things.
