I am an undergraduate at Rhodes University, majoring in Television Journalism and Politics. Additionally, I am a freelance writer for Rhodes University Communications and Marketing division. As an activist, I am particularly interested in health issues (HIV/AIDS) and education, particularly of learners who are coming in backgrounds deemed disadvantaged. As a result of my activism, I am affiated with two NGO’s (Upstart and Inkululeko) in Grahamstown who’s vision is to improve and better education of the learners who are coming from the underprivileged backgrounds and open opportunities for them to access higher education after matriculating.
