Introduction
eHealth is a strategic initiative for development and relies on creating discernable value through
relevant and reliable services to the community in the markets, namely - better health services,
improved healthcare outcomes, enhanced wellness in the society, available intelligence and governance
solutions for disease management and thus linking with national initiatives for improving the health of
all individuals.

The national imperatives, social drivers, commercial considerations and increasing focus on health and
wellness are driving a strong awareness and demand for innovative models of healthcare delivery,
disease management, information usage and connected healthcare governance. These inherently link to
attractive business opportunities and revenue possibilities, which can be used to further develop the
eHealth business line and achieve planned success outcomes.

Many western as well as developing economies are embracing eHealth as a platform of choice for
closing the obvious gaps in the traditional healthcare environment with its systemic disadvantages, as it
exists universally. Examples of telecom and network providers entering this space are abundant. Strong
drivers of change are expected to emerge in the short term, and it is the objective to be a leader in this
space, an early entrant, an innovator and evolve a measured strategy for rollout to serve its consumers
and develop a sustainable business vertical.

Background
The immediate priority requires consideration of the relevance of the offered value, the feasibility, the
partnering model and the clear roles and responsibilities of each entity, the cost and benefit analysis of
the partnership, its strategic alignment with overall corporate strategy and the protection of long term
strategic interests. The vision is to create a new entity focuses on delivering value and solutions
around eHealth and creating the eventual ecosystem as a business concern.

The current proposal covers a specific eHealth scope of services which is the core offering. The initiative
can span across communities and the nation, it can offer a bouquet of services that complement each
other. It should spawn a host of related business services and value added offerings that need to be

Strategic Intent
There is a growing momentum to connect devices, exchange data between patients and healthcare
providers, to offer clinical applications as hosted services, to connect insurance and financial institutions
and automate payments and revenue cycles in the sector, to build valuable disease management and
governance solutions using usage and trend statistics in clinical data repositories, as well start offering
lifestyle improvement services that enter the preventative and curative healthcare domains through
coaching, education, monitoring, and linking with alternative medicine, wellness spas, biotechnology
and genomic services. The future possibilities are literally limitless and a focused staged approach to this
sector is imperative.

Next Steps
A venture capitalist or angel investor is invited to discuss possible business engagement models after
due diligence of the proposed concept. The plan is to build value and offer a market ready vehicle for
immediate revenues and profit generation in the short terms.
