Social Media Saved Our Business! I am ever-inquisitive, so back in 2008/2009 I started to hear about this thing called Facebook. I read up about it, then moved on to learn about Twitter and LinkedIn.
I had previously spent 16 years as a partner in a Harley Street law firm. Deciding that we wanted a better pace of life, my husband and I, in 2005, both handed in our notice, looked at the map of the UK and bought a marketing franchise in Norwich.
I remember in the early days standing up at a business breakfast talking about Twitter, and seeing the vague stares - people thought I was mad.
