This account is in honour of the roadside dhabas/thelas just outside the iit delhi hostel gate. No specific purpose for this community except maybe some of you might like to recall and share the gyan and gossip that you exchanged while eating/smoking/loittering at sassi.
As such sassi was the name of one thela owner but now the name is used to refer to the entire conglomeration of 5-6 vendors, some of whom have overtaken the actual sassi in terms of sale.
