A close friend once stated that I'm weird, he had his own reasons why he thought so, I couldn't be bothered. I find myself to be some kind of weird I have to admit though. I don't know how to sympathise when someone is sharing a sad story or problem. It may come across as if I don't care, because as soon as the story is concluded, I go into resolution mode without sympathising. If the story requires no resolution, I will move on to the next subject without proper acknowledgement.
