Scott Filler is a Senior Disease Coordinator for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria located in Geneva, Switzerland. Specializing in Malaria, Scott Filler works in the Strategy, Investment, and Impact division at The Global Fund. Scott Filler learned that he wanted to make a difference in malaria research when he was a junior in college. Electing to spend a semester in Kenya, Scott was bitten by a mosquito, developed malaria, and fell very ill. At that moment in his life he knew he wanted to make a difference in malaria studies. He now makes sure that investments in The Global Fund are allocated properly to provide the most impact in research and technologies.
