The nickname "Screamin' John" was bestowed upon me at the age of 17, by some older musicians that used to sneak me into bars so I could pay my dues at an early age. I played in a lot of bands after that, most notably, the Predators. At the age of 26, my band, Edenstreet, signed a recording contract with a major label just a year before a corporate takeover by a liquor company made me a tax write-off. Thanks, guys.
