'News' via mass media = The Silent Many and the Vocal Few
We're heading toward another election where most people are never going to be in a room with the presidential candidates. What they learn about the candidates will be what the media shows them or tells them; decides not to show, decides not to tell.
Political Parties in America have two goals:
1 - Make the other party fail. (mostly by demonstrating how much worse the other is)
2 - Take money from lobbyists to fund re-election campaigns.
Then, WE RE-ELECT THEM!
