I have been working to measure the health impacts of the built environment since 2007. This work has evolved over time, beginning with the creation of a body of work in the areas of sustainability; the health effects of climate change; assessing the economic impacts of health disparities; brownfields assessment and indicator development. My current projects involve developing capacity in the state to conduct of Health Impact Assessments, implementating twelve objectives in the State Health Improvement Plan and assisting with the Surgeon General's Healthiest Weight Initiative.
