Nikej Shah is an emergency physician based in New York City, where he also completed his medical school and residency training. He has a special interest in and experience with emergency trauma and critical care, and has conducted research in the diagnosis and prevention of traumatic head injury.
Nikej Shah's basic research focused on virulence vectors of Staphylococcus aureus and the impact on neuronal conduction velocity of cholecalciferol-deficiency. He has also studied water quality in remote regions of the Himalayas, and conducted epidemiologic research on Helicobacter pylori.
