I am the author, most recently, of Witches on the Road Tonight, due out from Grove/Atlantic in March 2011. I've also written The Mammoth Cheese which was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction; The Dress Lodger, a national bestseller and New York Times Notable Book; A Stolen Tongue; and Sondok: Princess of the Moon and Stars, part of Scholastic's Royal Diary Series. I live in Brooklyn, New York with my marvelously brilliant and hysterical children Ella, Linus, and Felix.
