Gabriel grew up as a farm boy in the rural area of Nigeria and attended the University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria where he graduated in 2010 as the overall best student in the whole College of Agriculture with a First Class grade in Agricultural Economics and Extension Services. He later proceeded for Master’s degree at University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur, India on African Union Scholarship where he bagged a University Merit Award for the overall best student. He is currently working as ICAR International Research Fellow at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India, a research position leading to the award of Doctoral degree.
