I sat down today To write a poem on love in a way No one had ever written Nor would anyone be able to write Undisputed champion of love poems Without a fight Apparently all the cliches Have been used in love poems before I could not but help After ten thousand years Of Homo Sapiens Is there any new way left Where we can express What we feel about love Without repeating Someone else’s words So I failed The love poem was Nothing special Boy meets Girl (or Boy) They fall in love They fight and split or They live happily ever after Th
