(www.shopgate.com)Before Shopgate, Andrea has been a co-founder and COO of Sofort.com, a European online-payment leader, acquired by Klarna for approx. $150 million. During his time at Sofort, the company had signed up over 20,000 merchants with a transaction volume of above €1.5 billion ($1.9 billion).Andrea has been selected as one of the NEXT 100 Top Influencers of the Digital Industry in 2013. He has won the IT-Innovation Prize at CEBIT in 2011 and 2013. Andrea has also been selected as one of the Red Herring Global Top-100 in 2012.Andrea has studied Philosophy and Corporate Finance at the University of Zur.
