Dr. Showkeen Bilal Ahmad Gul presently working as Head, Department of Education, Govt. Degree College Pulwama. He completed his (M.A & M.Ed) from P.G Department of Education, University of Kashmir. He did his M.Phil. and Ph.D in Education from Aligarh Muslim University. Besides that he has qualified UGC-NET and JK-SET. He has been awarded the prestigious Post Doctorial Fellowship by UGC in 2015. He has published two books: ‘Gender Equity in Education in Kashmir: An Evaluative Study’ and ‘A Textbook of Educational Psychology’. His fields of interest are Educational Research, Educational Sociology and Educational Philosophy.
