After finishing his graduate studies at the University of Los Angeles, Sim Hoffman went to the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, spending the next four years – between 1975 and 1979 - there. His studies at UVA made him a highly prepared physician and a budding research scientist who would end up advancing the medical field with his work with imaging solutions.
