1. 1. General Objective
At the end of this course, students:
Will be able to apply what they have learned in a real life situation and use of the
grammar structures, writing sentences with the correct verb forms.
Sts will also be able to write short essays, elaborating questions and applying the
correct grammar.
Units. Specific objective
1. Present Imperative.
Students will demonstrate ability to reason deductively using non-action verbs
applying it to the simple present tense.
2. Past tense
Students will be able to identify a past tense verb within a sentence.
3. Present perfect and Past Perfect.
After reading story maps the class will discuss the verbs in the story. Using the
overhead projector and a copy of the story on a transparency the class will look at
the verbs and identify all the present perfect and past perfect within the story. As a
review students will identify any verbs in the past tense.
4. Future and Future Perfect.
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to read the sentences give
feedback, and differentiate between future tense and future perfect.
5. Wh-questions, Tag questions and Addition.
Construct correct sentences using WH-questions.
6. Adjectives and Adverbs.
Determine the correct use of adjectives and adverbs in the sentence.
