This document describes how a CeDiploma digital diploma certificate works to verify authenticity and integrity. The CeDiploma contains a digital signature and CeDiD number that can be entered on the issuing school's website for independent validation. It is certified by CeCredential Trust and any tampering would be detected by a broken validation ribbon. An Apostille certification is not needed as the CeDiploma has legal standing and can be fully validated through the university.
