TWENTY-ONEPOSSlBlLlTlES OF THE 21ST
-David Fox
Elevator Pitch
21 Twenty-One, is a program
that exists to bring those
involved in the life of someone
with down syndrome together as
a community in our 21st century.
The Program
21 Twenty-One, The possibilities
of the 21st, is a program that has
been put in place this past year
by visionary dreamer Jacquelyn
Little. Her goal in creating this
program has really been to
celebrate each and every life. She
has a younger sister, Natalie, who
has down syndrome (also known
as trisomy 21). She has started a
blog sharing stories and photos
with her community, but wants to
involve the down syndrome
community in large using the
avenue of 21 Twenty-One.
The Community
The down syndrome community
can be described in many ways.
Hardworking, patient, and
inspiring are just a few of the
characteristics that can be
attributed to these crusaders for
life. Especially over the more
recent years with technology that
can predict children being born
with trisomy 21, the rate of births
has dropped, though the life
expectancy continues to rise for
those who are born, evidencing
that now is truly the best time to
invest in the those who have so
much life inside of them.
Marketing
The marketing for this program
will be on multiple fronts. The
app and simple website will
serve as online destinations
while #21twentyone will be the
social media booster. Events are
always being held and hosted
for not only down syndrome but
other disabilities as well. This is
the perfect place to have a
booth or information presence
available with email signups,
business cards, brochures and
t-shirts.
Funding & Cost
With the design being completed
for the app, this cost, using
ranging between $500 - $10,000,
is absolved. Further development
could be pursued but the majority
of funds needed will be towards
developing and coding the app.
Aspects of this can also be done
without outsourcing, but a
conservative estimate would be
$1,000. After the app is
developed, there will be a
marketing fee, which for now will
be estimated as $800 initial cost.
Actually getting the app on the
iTunes store will only be $99/ year.
Our Team
Jacquelyn Little is an inspiring woman
with personal family interest in creating this
app. Her younger sister has trisomy 21,
and she has big dreams not only for
Natalie, but also for where the program will
go in the future.

David Fox is the brand and app designer
for this project, and is excited about the
opportunity to invest in and grow an
impactful and empowering program such
as 21 Twenty-One.

Daniel Fox is a software engineer who will
be overseeing the coding and
development of the app and website.

Justin Reid is the marketing and design
consultant, o鍖ering his experience to the
creation of this program.
Challenges
The challenges in creating this
program to its fullest extent are
there, but not insurmountable.
Bringing the program to more
than just a couple of designs
and brochures will take time and
dedication, but the motivation is
strong in that this is about
touching and changing lives,
and not just pocketbooks.
Surveys will need to be given,
and meetings will need to be
held, but more than anything
else, the goal of valuing life must
be held as paramount.
The Future
The future is bright for 21
Twenty-One. We have a
motivated team and a vision for
connectivity in a community that
loves, supports and dreams.
This program doesnt end with
this presentation. This program
doesnt end with an app on the
web. The goal of 21 Twenty-One
will continually change as the
community needs it. It exists to
serve and bring hope and
connection. It exists to bring
possibility to the 21st.
