จุดประสงค์การเรียนรู้
1. อธิบายหลักการใช้ และรูปประโยคของ Present Simple tense
ได้อย่างถูกต้อง
2. สามารถเขียนคา กริยาในรูปของ Present Simple tense ได้อย่าง
ถูกต้อง
คาชี้แจง
ศึกษารายละเอียดต่อไปนี้ แล้วปฏิบัติกิจกรรมในใบงานที่ 8
Present Simple Te nse หมายถึง “ปัจจุบันกาล” มีโครงสร้างและหลักการใช้ดังนี้
โครงสร้าง ประธานเอกพจน์ + กริยาช่องที่ 1 เติม s หรือ es
หรือ ประธานพหูพจน์ + กริยาช่องที่ 1
 โดยปกติถ้าประธานเอกพจน์ กริยาเติม “s” ยกเว้นกรณีต่อไปนี้ให้เติม “es” เสมอ
เช่น
She gets up early in the morning. หล่อนตื่นนอนแต่เช้าตู่
A boy goes to school everyday. เด็กชายคนหนึ่งไปโรงเรียนทุกวัน

2. ถ้ากริยาลงท้ายด้วย -s , -es , -x , -o , -z ,- ch , -sh ให้เติม es เช่น
go  goes ไป pass  passes ผ่าน
box  boxes ชกมวย brush  brushes แปรงฟัน
quiz  quizzes ทดสอบความรู้ catch  catches จับ
3. ถ้ากริยาลงท้ายด้วย y และหน้า y เป็นพยัญชนะให้เปลี่ยน y เป็น ies ถ้าหน้า y เป็นสระให้เติม s ได้เลย เช่น
cry  cries ร้องไห้ play  plays เล่น
fly  flies บิน destroy  destroys ทาลาย
วิธีการเติม “-s” หรือ “es” หลังคากริยาช่องที่ 1
1. ถ้ากริยาทั่วๆไปให้เติม “s” เช่น
eat  eats รัปประทาน
read  reads อ่าน
walk  walks เดิน
swim  swims ว่ายน้า

1.ใช้กับเหตุการณ์หรือการกระทาที่เป็นจริงเสมอหรือที่เกิดขึ้นตามความจริงของ
ธรรมชาติ เช่น
The earth moves round the sun.
= โลกหมุนรอบดวงอาทิตย์
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
= ดวงอาทิตย์ขึ้นทางทิศตะวันออก และตกทางทิศตะวันตก
2.ใช้กับเหตุการณ์หรือการกระทา ซ้าๆ เป็นประจา หรือเป็นนิสัย สังเกตได้จากคา กริยา
วิเศษที่บอกเวลาสม่า เสมอ ความถี่ หรือความบ่อยในประโยค คือ
always = เสมอๆ every day = ทุกๆ วัน often = บ่อยๆ
usually = โดยปกติ every time = ทุกๆ ครั้ง generally =โดยทั่วไป
every week = ทุกๆ สัปดาห์ sometime = บางครั้ง hardly =แทบจะไม่
once a week = สัปดาห์ละครั้ง twice a week = สัปดาห์ละ 2 ครั้ง
Montira walks to school everyday .
= มนทิราเดินไปโรงเรียนทุกวัน
He usually goes swimming at weekends.
= ปกติเขาไปว่ายน้า ทุกวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์
Present Simple Tense มีวิธีใช้กับเหตุการณ์ได้ดังต่อไปนี้

3. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่เป็นจริงในขณะที่พูดหรือกระทา ก่อนหน้าที่จะพูด หรือหลังจากพูด
ไปแล้วจะเป็นไปตามนั้นหรือไม่ก็ได้ แต่ต้องเป็นจริงในขณะที่พูด เช่น
He stands under the tree.
= เขายืนอยู่ใต้ต้นไม้ (ในขณะที่พูดประโยคนี้)
I have two books in the suitcase.
ฉันมีหนังสือ 2 เล่มอยู่ในกระเป๋า
(เปิดออกมาดูก็เห็นมี 2 เล่มจริงๆไม่ได้โกหก)
1. ประโยค Present Simple Tense ที่มี Verb to be หรือกริยาช่วยตัวอื่น ( can, may, must,
will, shall) สมารถเติม not หลังคา กริยาช่วย เช่น
She is a nurse.  She is not (isn’t) a nurse.
I can swim.  I cannot swim.
2. ประโยค Present Simple Tense ที่ไม่มี Verb to be หรือ คา กริยาช่วยอื่นให้ใช้ verb to do
( do, does ) มาช่วย โดยวาง verb to do ไว้หน้าคา กริยาแท้
- We walk to school every day.  We do not (don’t) walk to school every day.
- He walks to school every day.  He does not (doesn’t) walk to school every day.
การทา ให้เป็นประโยคปฏิเสธ
เอกพจน์ ใช้ does not
พหูพจน์ ใช้ do not
I, They, We, You ใช้ do not เหมือนกัน
กริยาสาคัญไม่ต้องเติม s (หรือ es, )

มีหลักการดังนี้
1. ประโยค Present Simple Tense ที่มี verb to be หรือกริยาช่วยตัวอื่นๆ ให้นาเอา
คา กริยาช่วยมาวางไว้หน้าประธาน แล้วใส่เครื่องหมายคา ถาม เช่น
- You are a student. คุณเป็นนักเรียน
- Are you a student? คุณเป็นนักเรียนใช่ไหม
- He can swim. เขาว่ายน้า ได้
- Can he swim? เขาว่ายน้า ได้ไหม
2. ประโยค Present Simple Tense ที่ไม่มี verb to be หรือคา กริยาช่วย ให้ปฏิบัติดังนี้
2.1 ใช้ doวางหน้าประธาน (พหูพจน์) คา กริยาแท้ไม่เติม s, es แล้วใส่เครื่องหมาย
คา ถาม เช่น
- Wanida and I play tennis every day.
- Do Wanida and I play tennis every day?
2.2 ใช้ does วางหน้าประธาน (พหูพจน์) คา กริยาแท้ในประโยคเดิมมี s, es ตัด s,
es ออก แล้วใส่เครื่องหมายคา ถามท้ายประโยค เช่น
- He goes to the cinema every day.
- Does he go to the cinema every day?
-The sun rises in the east.
-Does the sun rise in the east?

การตอบคาถามจะต้อง ตอบด้วย Yes หรือ No

Present continuous tense
หมายถึง “ปัจจุบันกาลกา ลังกระทา ”

 คากริยาช่วย is , am หรือ are จะต้องสอดคล้องกับประธานของประโยค 
เช่น
 I am doing my homework now.
= ฉันกาลังทาการบ้านอยู่ในขณะนี้
 Nancy is searching the internet.
= แนนซี่กาลังค้นหาข้อมูลทางอินเตอร์เน็ต
 They are playing football.
= พวกเขากาลังเล่นฟุตบอล
 He is playing tennis.
เขากาลังเล่นเทนนิส
มีรูปประโยคดังนี้

หลักการเติม “–ing” ที่ท้ายคากริยา ช่องที่ 1 มีดังนี้ครับ
1.คากริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วย e ที่ไม่ออกเสียง ให้ตัด e ทิ้งก่อนแล้ว เติม ing เช่น
move – moving = เคลื่อนที่ take – taking = เอาไป, พาไป
live – living = อาศัย argue- arguing = โต้เถียง
2.คากริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วย ie เปลี่ยน ie เป็น y เสียก่อน แล้ว จึงเติม ing เช่น
die – dying = ตาย lie – lying = โกหก
3.คากริยาพยางค์เดียว มีสระตัวเดียว ตัวสะกดตัวเดียว
เพิ่มตัวสะกด 1 ตัวแล้วเติม ing เช่น
dig – digging = ขุด get – getting = ได้รับ
stop- stopping = หยุด run- running = วิ่ง
4. คากริยาทั่วไป เติม ing ท้ายคากริยา เช่น
go – going = ไป listen – listening = ฟัง
work – working = ทางาน read – reading = อ่าน

1. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่กาลังกระทาอยู่ในขณะที่พูด โดยมักจะมีคาที่บอกเวลา เช่น
now = ขณะนี้ at present = ในปัจจุบันนี้
today = วันนี้ at this time = ขณะนี้ at this moment = ขณะนี้
The dog is sleeping now.
= สุนัขกาลังหลับ
Wilai is cooking in the kitchen now.
= วิไลกาลังทากับข้าวอยู่ในโรงครัวเดี๋ยวนี้
2. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตอันใกล้ และมีคาบอกเวลาเป็นอนาคตมากากับเช่น
Mr. Tomson is coming here soon.
= มร. ทอมสันจะมาที่นี่เร็วๆนี้
การใช้ Present continuous tense
We are leaving for Paris tomorrow.
พวกเราจะออกเดินทางไปนครปารีสในวันพรุ่งนี้

คากริยาบางตัวไม่นิยมนามาแต่งเป็น Present Continuous Tense คือกริยาที่ แสดงการรับรู้ ได้แก่
see = เห็น feel = รู้สึก smell = ได้กลิ่น know = รู้
love = รัก like = ชอบ believe = เชื่อ seem = ดู เหมือน
tast = ชิม want = ต้องการ etc.
เช่น I see something here. ฉันเห็นอะไรบางอย่างที่นี้
(อย่าใช้ : I am seeing something here)
She loves me very much. หล่อนรักผมมาก
(อย่าใช้ She is loving me very much. )
