A typical day for a Mexican student starts with waking up between 6:30-7:00am, taking a shower, and eating breakfast like eggs, milk, and pancakes. They then get dressed in a school uniform and take public transportation, taxi, or car to school that starts at 8:00am. After classes end between 1:30-3:00pm, students eat at home or restaurants and sometimes do sports or extra classes before starting homework between 4:00-5:00pm which takes 1-2 hours. Evenings are spent relaxing with activities like TV, video games, reading, or socializing with friends before going to sleep from 11:00pm-12:30am.
