A Little About March
      Madness

      By Oskeim Sports
March Madness
A sports handicapping and consulting firm,
Oskeim Sports maintains an impressive
record of 60 percent winners in football,
basketball, baseball and hockey combined.
While college football is the most popular
betting sport, college basketball also offers
vast potential for positive outcomes. Oskeim
Sports owner Jeff Keim cites March
Madness as one of the most popular times
of year for sports betting.
March Madness
In each year since 1939, the NCAA basketball
championships have determined the best college
team in America. The term ¡°March Madness¡± was
originally used by the Indiana High School
Association for their own basketball tournaments. In
1982, a Chicago sports reporter began using the
term to describe NCAA tournament play, and the
name stuck. Nearly 70 schools now participate in
the tournament. Also referred to as the ¡°Big Dance,¡±
the championships drew more than 20 million
television viewers in 2011. On broadband and
mobile platforms, the tournament had more than 57
 million visitors.
