A 24-year old female presented with pain in the right hip joint after a fall. MRI revealed a lesion in the right femur involving the subcapitate, neck, interochanteric and proximal shaft regions. The lesion was centrally located, lobulated in contour with a narrow transition zone, primarily involving the medullary cavity with associated cortical thinning. A cortical break was seen along the medial aspect of the proximal femoral shaft. Features were consistent with a simple bone cyst with fracture.Names of God
