  3. So when we travel abroad we encounter that people do things differently, different language, different foods.Different Culture. When we go to live abroad one of the early phases that we encounter can be culture-shock, so what types of thigs can create culture-shock, examples. In the field of Intercultural or cross-cultural Study there are different culture stages identified that people need to go through/be aware of -
  4. These cultural difference that we encounter can also be identified and measured (cultural profiling) One of the tools that I use maps an individual or group against 12 dimensions. Example to do showing UK and China (not stereotype) Show personal example and then get everyone to do their own. Explain that I use the same online application individual answers approx 25 questions and the profile is shown on a wheel..
  5. Explain each pie piece has an example and possible solution to overcome potential issue created. Also do DISC profiling behavioural styles.
  6. Online tool also has a section of over 60 countries data So I have hopefully given you a brief flavour of the type of training and online applications that I use and I thought we could end the session with a cultural quiz to test your individual knowledge..
