Nomadic herding families in Mongolia regularly lose their entire herds of animals to the extreme winter conditions, leaving them without a source of food or livelihood. The charity CAMDA runs grassroots projects like wells in the arid Gobi Desert and providing tractors to cut grass for winter hay reserves to help the nomadic population of 750,000 people keep their traditional way of life in the harsh environment. Donations are being requested to support CAMDA's work assisting the nomadic herders.

3. I¡¯m raising money to support nomadic
herding families in Mongolia.
Nomadic population of 750,000 live off
small herds and have no other way of
life.
4. Because of extreme conditions in
winter (often -45C) every few years
most of the families lose up to 100%
of their herd animals.
That means they don¡¯t have even
food - meat or milk.
5. CAMDA, the charity I¡¯m supporting
runs grass-roots projects to help
nomads keep their hard but natural
way of Life.
