Osborne has published over 100 books across several genres. She began her writing career accidentally by writing a semi-autobiographical book about an 11-year old girl. This book was published as Run, Run as Fast as You Can and inspired Osborne to become a full-time writer. Her Magic Tree House series about Jack and Annie traveling through time has sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
