About Kinjal Das TakenCATsince 2008.Highest was 92with 95inQA/DI Taken XAT since 2010. Highest score was 95 with 99%tile in Verbal. The same year I got 17%tile in Verbal inCAT. Missed XL BM call every year as I fell short of percentile cut offs in one of the three sections. One time, I missed Quant cutoff by 0.3%tile. TakenNMATtwice and scored 99%tilebut didnt join because of higherwork experience. MH-CET 99.29%tilein 2011and MATDecember - 99.86%tilewith scaled score of 792of 800in 2009.
The Issueswith CAT Thenormalization process is not easily understood. Itdoes not provide a fair representation of the students ability. Student needs to wait over a monthto knowhis /herresults. So performance cannot be measured immediately. Score is valid only for 1year Student can attempt the CAT only oncein a year.
Why GMAT? TheGMAT mock tests provide a fair assessment. For eg: Itook 3 mock tests 770/ 780/ 770and scored a 760onthe actual GMAT. TheGMAT results aregenerated instantly at the end of the test. So performancecan be instantly gauged. TheGMAT scores are valid for 5years so youhave longertime to apply to B-schools in Indiaand abroad. TheGMAT test can be given 5times a yearwithin an interval of 31days fromyourprevious test.
