3. Giunta Family Home Makeover
A family that faced hardship for 2years,has
their dilapidated house completely rebuilt
while they are away on vacation in Disneyland
for a week.
Renee gave birth to their 3rd child; their only
girl. On the way home from the hospital with
the 2 older boys.
Paul fell asleep and hit a tree. He went into a
coma and when he woke up, had lost the
ability to walk and talk (he was lucky to be
alive).
4. Giunta Family Home Makeover
Paul sustained such horrible injuries that
doctors told Renee he wouldn't make it
through the night. Paul did make it through
the night, and was told that he would never
walk or talk again.
Paul defied all odds, and he is talking and
walking, as his determination is strong, and
the support of his wife is even stronger.
5. Giunta Family Home Makeover
After MUCH rehab, he is able to walk but has
reduced balance (he received stitches on his
face as a result of one fall).
He is able to talk and has regained much of his
memory (short term and is still a little
challenging). He does not remember the year
of the accident.
He has been living with his parents in
Marlborough since being discharged from the
hospital as their house in Maynard could not
accommodate his wheelchair/walker.

7. Giunta Family Home Makeover
But it shows the loyalty of a wife, and the
determination of a husband and father, and the
strength it takes to overcome obstacles.
There were so many different events that were
planned beyond the building of the brand new
house.
- Fundraising
- Well wishers
8. What I liked about the show
It brought together individuals collective
strength to make other peoples dreams a reality.
Social responsibility is the name behind the team
in giving back to the community.
Each episode ends with the participants' return to
their homes, families and friends, showing the
reactions of their loved ones, who have not been
allowed to see the incremental changes during
the participants' absence.
9. The houses are customized to the families,
with rooms reflecting the interests of,
especially, the children, and special
technology for any unusual medical
conditions.
Cameron's room a young boy who loves
penguins.
10. Since the accident, Paul Guinta was not able to
come home. Now, for the first time in two years,
he was able to walk through his front door and
actually stay together as a family with his wife
and kids.
12. Lessons from the Episode
The one thing I will take away from this is that
people truly want to help other people - no
matter what they can do, they will do it.
Extreme Home Makeover Show just like
Thyrodo Corporation, its aim is to restore
dignity to humankind.
Few things help an individual more than to
place responsibility upon him
13. Recommended People to watch this show
It is a story of hope, of faith, of loyalty and a
story of life - changing in an instant.
I recommend it to those who have lost and

the end results are always fantastic!
Life is precious. Life can change in an instant
