BEGINNERS GUIDE TO VACATION RENTALS
It is important renters are aware of every detail in regards to the property they intend to stay in. Here are a few key questions you should ask before agreeing to rent the property: What happens if there is a weather related emergency? What happens if a family emergency occurs prior to checking in? What are the circumstances that would lead to loss of a deposit? Cancellation policy
Be sure the renters de鍖nition of child- or pet-friendly align with yours Are the accommodations child proofed? Is there anything that may be harmful to pets or small children (stairs, plants, etc.). Child/Pet-Friendly
Depending on how many people you are vacationing with our plan on allowing to visit you at the rental property, you may want to know: How many cars are allowed on the rental property? What will the charges be per vehicle? Is there a parking fee? Is there public transportation nearby? Car policy
Just like any other home, issues with safety and maintenance might be a concern. Who do you call if you need assistance for problems associated with the property? What type of security system is used? What happens if you get locked out of the property? Property Issues
The manner in which rental properties are cleaned varies. Ask the following questions. What are renters expected to clean? Will additional fees be added if the unit is not left a certain way? Cleaning Services
It never hurts to inquire if the property includes extra perks such as: Airport transportation Private beach access Pool access Housekeeping On-site Concierge Additional Perks
