The document provides a list of common professions and occupations such as doctor, nurse, pilot, teacher, etc. It then presents several multiple choice questions that test understanding of those professions, such as identifying that doctors work in hospitals helping patients and pilots can fly planes and travel to space. The summary identifies professions from the list and poses sample multiple choice questions about common job roles and responsibilities.
This document contains examples of sentences using must and have to to express obligations and necessities. The sentences provide scenarios about meetings, applications, gifts, rent, driving licenses, success, car repairs, hiking, holidays, exams, and scholarships. Must and have to are used to indicate things that are required, forbidden, or believed to certainly be the case based on the context of each scenario.
Must is commonly used to express certainty or necessity. It can also express strong recommendation, though native English speakers prefer the more flexible "have to". "Must not" is used to prohibit actions but sounds very severe; "should not" or "ought not" are softer alternatives to dissuade rather than prohibit. Examples are given for the different uses of must and must not. Guidelines are provided on the positive and negative forms of must and must not versus have to in different tenses. The key difference between "must not" and "do not have to" is that the former prohibits an action while the latter means an action is not required.
This document contains a wh questions exercise where the reader is asked to select the right option to fill in the blanks of various wh-questions. The questions cover topics like names, actions, time, location, quantity and more to test one's understanding of different types of wh-questions in English.
This document provides examples of simple past tense constructions in Spanish, including affirmative statements using the main verb, negative statements using "no" and the auxiliary verb "do", questions using the auxiliary verb "be", and questions using the auxiliary verb "do". It describes actions that began in the past and may still be ongoing now, actions that were completed recently, or finished actions that influence the present situation.
The document describes different types of repeated actions and statements of fact or habits. It includes examples of things that happen regularly in the present time, facts that are generally true, personal habits, things that are true in general, and negative statements of things that do not occur or are not liked. The examples are given as incomplete sentences to be filled in with common present tense verbs.
