It involves sitting at the end of an inflatable called a "blob" while other people jump from a springboard, causing the person on the blob to fly through the air. Blobbing later became popular at summer camps across the USA and has since spread to Europe, where people jump from a springboard onto an inflatable blob to launch another person into the air.
