Brazil is the largest country in South America, with a population of over 192 million people and the 8th largest economy in the world that is projected to become the 5th largest by 2020. The Brazilian flag represents its forests, wealth, sky, and peace, with stars for its 26 states. Brazil has a federal republic government system and Portuguese is the official language, with influences from indigenous and colonial languages. Some of Brazil's most notable features are the Amazon Rainforest, Iguazu Falls, beaches, soccer culture, and traditional foods like feijoada and brigadeiro.
