3. BROOKHAVEN INNOVATION ACADEMY
 One of the ways in which Brookfield looks to
individualize its students’ experience while preparing
them for college is through the curriculum’s focus on
Project Based Learning (PBL). This method of
teaching presents an interesting and nuanced
question, project, or challenge for students, and asks
them to respond or solve it over an extended period
of time. In this way, students are constantly engaged
in their work and encouraged to look at a problem
from multiple angles - a creative problem-solving
method constantly utilized in the work force. With the
additional opportunity to use technology in
addressing the work, PBL provides an effective and
enjoyable learning experience for students.
