Steven Virgadamo is an experienced Catholic education administrator and institutional advancement specialist. He has over 25 years of experience guiding Catholic schools across the United States. In the 1980s, he established a non-profit in Connecticut called the Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Schools to fund education for minority and underprivileged students, implementing a $15 million endowment campaign. He later served in development roles in Delaware and as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Catholic School Management, Inc. for 20 years.

Steven Virgadamo established the Foundation for the Advancement
of Catholic Schools (FACS) in 1982. This is a Hartford based non-
profit corporation with a mission to fund the education of minority
and underprivileged students. He served as an Executive Director
till 1986. During these four years, he implemented a $15 million
endowment campaign for catholic education. He designed and
conducted an Archdiocesan annual fund effort to provide $1 million
in annual scholarship support for students attending inner city
schools. He also established and managed a process of awarding
grants to schools, families, and parishes. In 1986, Steven Virgadamo
joined Diocese of Wilmington, as the Director of Development and
Stewardship. He served on the Bishop's Senior Leadership Team. He
not only conducted an assessment of existing philanthropic
strengths and opportunities, but also created a strategic vision for
long term growth and success in stewardship and development.
