The Fourth Commandment is to honor thy father and mother by showing them respect, helping them with their needs, obeying them as they care for you, and being a good listener, as modeled by Jesus who loved and obeyed Mary and Joseph. We should honor our parents for giving us life and caring for us, and honor others in lawful positions of authority who aim to protect us.
