This study evaluated the effectiveness of progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) exercises in reducing pain and fatigue among 100 hospitalized cancer patients receiving radiotherapy. The patients were randomly assigned to an intervention group that received four PMR sessions over 4 weeks or a control group that received standard treatment. Pain was measured using a numerical pain rating scale and fatigue was measured using a cancer fatigue scale before and after the intervention.
